BTOB Members Write Heartfelt Messages to Fans on Their 8th Anniversary
BTOB thanked their fans, Melody, for their undying support since they made their debut in the K-pop realm eight years ago!
On March 21, the septet celebrated their 8th anniversary. As their way of repaying the fans' love, they have uploaded photos of each member's handwritten letter to Melody (BTOB's official fandom name).
The first to express his gratitude was Hyunsik. He wrote, "I cannot believe it! It is Melody and BTOB's 8th anniversary! I am beyond thankful to all of you who always stayed by my side. I know that this is such a long time but it is short compared to the fact that we will all be spending much time in the future. Let's all be together and love each other to infinity! I love you, our Melody!"
Peniel then took his turn by writing, "I feel so disappointed right now that we cannot see each other as a whole group and in-person on this very special day for the both of us, as we celebrate our 8th anniversary. Thank you all for waiting and I'm sorry if I can't do anything but to ask all of you to lend us a little patience while you wait for us. Please always practice hygiene in this time of the Coronavirus pandemic. Thank you and I love you!"
Ilhoon came next and wrote his message, "I am grateful and glad to know that each of you has been with us since the beginning up to now that we reached eight years. However, I do believe that we all could still spend much time together as we count from this day to the future! Love you all always."
Sungjae then wrote, "It has been eight years.. wow can't imagine it. Indeed, BTOB has been around for such a long time! Of course, our Melody became a fan club who has been around for such a long time since the beginning of our debut. Let us stay together for more like a pair of long-lived beetles. YeJiApSa!"
YeJiApSa is an abbreviation that BTOB used to tell their supporters that means, "I loved you before, I love you now, and will still love you in the future."

Eunkwang's message said, "Hello, our Melody! First of all, wow, eight years! Congratulations to us, pride, gratitude, and happiness! Today is the day that I feel so much overwhelmed with complicated feelings but even if I cannot participate in the live broadcast, I hope you all do feel the love I am sending you right now! Thank you always, and I love you all! I will make happy memories in this year 2020 for all of you! I love you, Melody!"
Minhyuk wrote, "Hello everyone this is Minhyuk! I write to all of you Melodies in celebration of our 8th year anniversary! Eight years.. wow this feels surreal and surprising! I felt like it's only been three or four years? But wow time really flies so fast right? Not just for the old fans but even the youngest ones who started to support us from their teenage years are now in their mid-20's. During that time all of you stayed by our side. I feel beyond grateful to all of you!
BTOB will always strive for the best and will continue to make music and activities to repay your love and undying support.
Aside from celebrating our 8th year anniversary together as one, it is indeed a difficult time these days for many people because of the Coronavirus Infection pandemic. Everyone please be careful and let us combat this together! Eunkwang and Changsub will be returning soon. After a little time, I will be making my comeback as well so let us fight this crisis as one!

Lastly, Changsub expressed his gratitude to Melody with, "Hello Melody! This is Changsub, I am doing very well right now, I hope all of you too! It's already been eight years since the birth of our fate. It's surprising how time flies so fast and I must admit that the times I have spent with you Melodies are happy times. Let us be together until our 80th anniversary!
