Cheetah Launches Her Own One-Woman Company "Kuda Entertainment"

Cheetah makes a new beginning with her own company!

The artist announced on April 20 that she had established her own one-woman agency, and intends to expand through a variety of different fields.

A spokesperson of her new company named Kuda Entertainment said, "As Cheetah goes on with solo promotional activities, she is eager to work much better than it has ever been. Cheetah will charge forward in several areas, namely music, television, and movies. Kindly show a great deal of support and encouragement for her prospective operations."

Since gaining prominence on Mnet's "Unpretty Rap Star," Cheetah was involved not just in the world of entertainment but also on television, where she starred very notably on Mnet's "Produce" program as a celebrity coach.

Cheetah initially played on the sidewalks as an independent artist before making an appearance in the music industry after leaving high school. Nevertheless, in July 2010, she formally premiered as part of the hip-hop group, Blacklist, with the single "Stop (Money Can't Buy Me, Love)." The pair had published two tracks, "Nothing Lasts Forever" and "Stop." The pair dissolved later on.

Cheetah produced many solo performances after Blacklist, such as performing on the songs of other musicians and even participating in the TV series Show Me The Money for the rap battle. In 2012, she formed another duo group, named Masterpiece, with hip-hop artist Crush.

In May 2012, the pair launched their single, "Rollercoaster." The band once again performed poorly with the community and lead to separation.

Cheetah produced her initial EP in 2014, entitled Cheetah Itself. The mini-album demonstrated her forceful rap, drawing attention to her abilities as a soloist. The album helped put her on the competitor list for Show Me The Money's rap survival spin-off, Unpretty Rapstar.

Cheetah was disclosed to be one of the participants on the Unpretty Rapstar TV series in early 2015. The contest featured particularly Lucky J member Jessi, Jimin's K-pop girl group rapper AOA, and other underground women performers. Cheetah was declared as champion in the show's final episode.

Cheetah has also featured in numerous advertisements and fashion shoots since she's gained attention from her performance and victory on Unpretty Rapstar. The rapper also worked with Push Button in developing and launching a fashion collection.

Cheetah was announced in March 2015 as planning for a new album, which will be introduced later in that year.

Since participating in Unpretty Rapstar, Cheetah launched her very first single. On August 2, 2015, the track "My Number" was produced.

Cheetah worked with Kim Junsu on his EP in October 2015 and was included on the Midnight Show album. That same month, Cheetah starred as a jazz singer in the MBC musical entertainment show King of Mask Singer, despite being recognized as a rapper.

She participated as a coach in Produce 101 in January 2016 and kept taking up her task in Produce 48 and Produce X 101 in the second season.
