Block B's Park Kyung will be referred to the prosecution regarding his allegations of manipulation of the ranking by other artists.

On June 17, the Seoul Seongdong Police Station confirmed that his case will be moved to the prosecution with a request of indictment without imprisonment for defamation for the dissemination of fake information.

A police official said, "We reached the conclusion that Park Kyung was spreading misinformation. We are going to forward the complaint to the prosecutors next week, if at the earliest soon or sometime next week."

Late November, Park Kyung alleged other artists of pervasive sajaegi (deception of sales figures by purchasing or broadcasting a bulk of an artist's own company). He published his accusations in a now-deleted post, saying, "I'd like to make sajaegi the same as Vibe, as with Hy Song Ha Ye, as Lim Jae Hyun, as Jeon Sang Keun, Jang Deok, and as Hwang In Wook."

All of the artists noted are indeed presently pursuing legal action against him. Because of the investigation, Park Kyung also decided to postpone his military service.

Park Kyung has been playing an active role in the police investigation, as per sources, and he willingly underwent his initial police questioning in March.

On June 17, Park Kyung's agency responded to the reports of the idol undergoing investigations. Seven Seasons stated, "We have confirmed the police will send Park Kyung to the prosecution. We will sincerely cooperate with the investigation in accordance with the prosecution's investigation process in the future." 

PARK KYUNG'S ENLISTMENT

Park Kyung's mandatory military service was initially planned for January 21 but has now been postponed. A representative from his company said, "His enlistment has also been postponed, it is official. But the precise date of his delay is still to be made public."

The agency added, "Today, we're going to have a meeting on this issue. When there are other situations to discuss, We will coordinate and tell you about our internal affairs."

THE ARTISTS MENTIONED IN PARK KYUNG'S TWEET PURSUE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST HIM

Agency Jang Deok Cheol released the following statement:

"Hello, everyone. This is Entertainment at LIMEZ.

Here is our official response about a particular artist on November 24, who brought up our musician Jang Deok Cheol and harmed their reputation. 

We are announcing that we will never take this lightly and take firm steps to protect our artist. The agency continues to rebuild our artists' image to this day, which was impaired by the report surfacing last April. The singer's comment about the dawn of November 24 has yet again imposed evocative damage on the company and our artist."

Hwang In Wook's Agency's statement: 

"We confirm our public announcement about the artist who listed the identity of our musician Hwang In Wook on November 24 and brought up sajaegi.

We can not ignore this case, and we are announcing that we will take strong steps to resolve this issue as per court processes. We will obtain information related to the subsequent dissemination of false evidence or deceptive libel that happens after the twitter post in question. We will take strict legal action without leniency of any kind."
