"Gangnam Style" launched Psy into the international spotlight last year and now the hit song has been resurrected... by a bird.

Now that Psy has released his second global hit song "Gentleman" he is traveling around the world performing and making guest appearances just about everywhere. His popularity seems to have plateaued at 'the most famous Korean of all time' and that is a distinction that will be hard to break.

But now, a new YouTube video may give him a run for his money, with the possibility to create 'the most famous cockatoo of all time.'

That's right, Psy's "Gangnam Style" is gaining momentum again thanks to a pet bird with an affinity for the song and all the right moves.

In the video the cockatoo is seen jumping up and down, bopping his head back and forth, and flapping his wings to the song's melody. It is a clip that can only be described as "pure joy" - it seems doubtful there is a happier bird anywhere in the world, or a bigger Psy fan.

While the cockatoo version of "Gangnam Style" has no where near as many YouTube views as Psy - a respectable 550,000 compared with the Korean celeb's record-breaking 1.6 billion - it's not too shabby for a bird.
