British High School Head Teacher Fulfills 'Gangnam Style' Promise [VIDEO]

Penketh High School head teacher Jeff Hughes made a deal with his students last year - if they performed well and met their goals, he would dance to Psy's international mega-hit "Gangnam Style."

Well, his students did and he fulfilled his end of the bargain last week with his now-viral "Gangnam Style" video on YouTube.

Hughes, with the help of 50 other teachers, created a frame-by-frame recreation of Psy's original music video. Since it was posted on May 24, the video has already gotten over 185,000 views.

The playful video shows Hughes as the Psy character going through all of the scenes popularized by the original - he's in the horse stables, has a dance battle with another teacher in a yellow suit, and even finds himself on an awkward elevator ride.

When watching the video, it is easy to note that not only is it a spitting image of the original, but it is unusually high quality for a YouTube parody. That is because Penketh High School, where Hughes teaches, specializes in video and media production - they are old hat at this kind of stuff.

The teacher and the rest of the staff have gotten a lot of praise for the video - for fulfilling the promise to the hardworking students and for their unique brand of "Gangnam Style."
