HyunA Revealed to Have Collapsed During Filming + Gives Update on Health

HyunA Updates Fan Regarding Health Following Collapse During Music Video Filming
On the morning of August 16, KST, HyunA took to her Instagram to share with fans her current health status, where she revealed to have collapsed during the filming of her and boyfriend Dawn's new music video.
Back in 2019, HyunA revealed that she was diagnosed with vasovagal syncope, also known as reflex syncope, a medical condition that causes a brief loss of consciousness due to a decrease in heart rate or blood pressure.
In her lengthy caption, HyunA also shows her gratitude to the staff, fans, and her boyfriend Dawn for their constant support.

HyunA says, "Thank you to everyone who have stayed with me for 48 hours on the 11th and 14th. I can't think of any better words to express my feelings other than saying thank you over and over again. Filming this music video has been more meaningful, and I am really thankful to our staff members."
HyunA also reveals that she usually collapses several times a day, and for the first time, an ambulance was sent to the filming site of the music video.
"I was happily dancing, but I collapsed again, so I was very upset because my body didn't allow me to do what I wanted 100 percent. I guess it is my fault for not taking care of my body sooner. When I woke up, my blood pressure was at 70/40 at the time, so I couldn't continue filming immediately," said HyunA.
She also shares how relieved she felt when she came home, as she was able to finish filming for the music video. Although she says she might seem a little crazy for thinking like this, she remembered everyone that she loves and is grateful for everything.
She also says she is the happiest when she is on stage, and thanks the staff members who help her look the prettiest when on stage and for staying by her side. She also apologizes and promises to take better care of herself.

"To my A-ings (HyunA's fandom), I will perform until the day I can't anymore and will do my best to make you proud. I will eat well and work out more. I am sorry for making you worry about me. I will be going to the hospital on Tuesday and have a check-up and get medicine. Thank you for loving and supporting me despite me lacking in so many things. I really mean this," continued HyunA.
She ends her message by apologizing to Dawn as well, "Dawn, I am sorry. Thank you and I love you always."
Meanwhile, HyunA and Dawn are currently preparing to release their first-ever collaboration song this coming September 9 KST.
