TWICE's 'Formula of Love: O+T=<3' Becomes the Best-Selling Girl Group Album on Gaon in 2021
TWICE's "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" has become the best-selling album by a girl group released in 2021 on the Gaon Chart after surpassing their previous album "Taste of Love."

On Dec. 8, Gaon Chart released its monthly rankings for November, including the list of albums that sold the most in that month.

One of the new entries on the chart, particularly inside the Top 5, is TWICE's third full album "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" which was released on Nov. 12. It debuted at No. 2 after selling a total of 632,506 copies in South Korea in the past month.
Among the girl group albums on the list, "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" has the highest position, which means TWICE is the female group with the most album sales on Gaon in November.

"Formula of Love: O+T=<3" has also become the JYP girl group's album with the most sales in Gaon history.
On top of that, TWICE's "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" has broken the record for the best-selling album by a girl group in 2021. It has surpassed the nonet's previous album "Taste of Love," which only sold over 557,000 copies to date.
This achievement makes TWICE's third full album the first album by a girl group to exceed 600,000 copies sold on the Gaon Chart this year.

Meanwhile, in Gaon's weekly rankings of albums for Nov. 28 to Dec. 4, "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" ranked No. 4, the same position it has in the past week.
Three more of TWICE's albums entered the weekly chart: "Eyes Wide Open" ranked No. 43, "PAGE TWO" ranked No. 81 and "THE STORY BEGINS" ranked No. 93.
"Eyes Wide Open" also made it to Gaon's monthly album chart for November. It secured the No. 80 spot after selling 6,078 more copies.
Finally, on the weekly Gaon Retail Album Chart, TWICE's "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" climbed up to No. 4 with 33,196 copies sold.

TWICE's "SCIENTIST" and other Songs Enter Weekly and Monthly Gaon Charts
In related news, TWICE's new song "SCIENTIST," which is the title track of their third full album, entered multiple weekly and monthly Gaon charts.
While "SCIENTIST" placed No. 42 with over 7.6 million digital points on the weekly Gaon Digital Chart, the song debuted at No. 80 on the monthly chart with over 22.7 million points. The other TWICE songs in the weekly and monthly digital chart are "Alcohol-Free" and "The Feels."

TWICE's "SCIENTIST" also entered the weekly Gaon Download Chart at No. 33 and the monthly chart at No. 11. "The Feels" made it to both charts as well.
On the weekly Gaon Streaming Chart, "SCIENTIST" rose to No. 44 while "Alcohol-Free" and "The Feels" climbed down to Nos. 127 and 184 respectively.
The same three songs landed on the monthly streaming chart, too, with "SCIENTIST" being the highest at No. 96.
