Camera Director Spotted Dancing to aespa's 'Next Level' at the 2021 SBS Entertainment Awards
Back on December 18, the 2021 SBS Entertainment Awards took place and was hosted by Lee Seung Gi, Han Hye Jin, and Jang Do Yeon. On this day, SM Entertainment's rookie girl group, aespa, graced the awards ceremony with a performance of their hit single, "Next Level."
A few days after the awards ceremony took place, Olympic archer and gold medalist, An San, took to her Instagram account to share about her experience and time at the SBS Entertainment Awards on December 20.
In particular, An San shared a video clip of aespa performing to "Next Level," and praised the group for their hair, makeup, and coordination, and saying that "they were the best."
With An San sitting at the front and next to the stage, she had a clear view of aespa's performance and was able to record it well with her phone.
But what caught netizens' eyes was SBS' camera director at the lower left corner of the video and was directly in front of the stage, who seemed to love aespa just as much as An San.

The camera director was ready to risk it all, as netizens noted how he had stopped doing whatever he was supposed to be doing to do the iconic dance move of aespa's "Next Level" as he followed the group's dance performance.

The camera director proved he's a true MY - aespa's fandom - as he danced to "Next Level" with the right moves, timing, angle, and confidence as the four members on stage.
When the highlight of aespa's choreography was finished, he casually turned back around to resume his work. And when aespa finished their performance at the awards ceremony, he clapped like a seal in support of the girl group.
The celebrities in attendance and those who saw the camera director dancing laughed and applauded the staff member for his mini-performance.
The video quickly garnered attention from netizens all over social media, and also couldn't help but praise and enjoy the camera director's dancing.

Meanwhile, aespa, along with BoA, recently released a cover of their label and industry seniors, S.E.S' song "Dream Come True" on December 20, as part of Youtube Originals' "Re:MASTERPIECE" and SM Entertainment's "Remastering Project."
aespa will also be participating at the 2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon, where they will give a special performance on December 31 KST.
