VIXX Ravi, BTS RM, and More: These K-Pop Idols Have the Most Copyrighted Songs

The Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) is a collective rights management organization in South Korea and features over 200,000 members who have participated in the composition, arrangement, lyrics, and more, of a song. Not only that, but the KOMCA also keeps track of each individual's records, and makes sure each artist is credited properly.

Of course, numerous of our favorite K-Pop idols have also participated in the production of their or other's songs, and have been included in KOMCA. With that, check out the K-Pop idols - from VIXX Ravi to BTS RM - who have the most copyrighted songs under their name as of January 2022.

1. VIXX Ravi - 202 Songs

At the top spot as the K-Pop idol with the most copyrighted songs is rapper, singer, producer, and VIXX member Ravi. As of January 2022, Ravi has 202 songs copyrighted under his name. He has participated in the composing and lyrics of both his and VIXX's songs, as well as for other groups such as gugudan, Elris, and Melody Day.

2. BTS RM - 187 Songs

The second K-Pop idol with the most copyrights is BTS' leader and rapper, RM, who has 187 songs credited under his name. RM has been producing way before he debuted in BTS, and aside from making songs for his group, he has also produced for other artists such as Homme, TXT, Younha, 2AM, GLAM, and more.

3. PSY - 181 Songs

Next up is P NATION founder and CEO, PSY, who has 181 copyrighted songs as of January 2022. The "Gangnam Style" hitmaker also had a hand in producing numerous of his own songs, as well as produce for other artists, such as those under P NATION.

4. BIGBANG G-Dragon - 174 Songs

The fourth K-Pop idol with the most copyrighted songs is BIGBANG's leader, G-Dragon. Currently, G-Dragon has 174 copyrighted songs, with most of it coming from his works for BIGBANG and as a solo artist. He also helped produce for other artists, such as for his fellow YG Entertainment artists.

5. Former HIGHIGHT Junhyung, ZICO - 157 Songs

Former HIGHLIGHT member Junhyung comes in as the fifth idol with the most copyrights at 157 songs credited under his name. He has written countless songs songs for top stars such as HIGHLIGHT (former BEAST), HyunA, EXID, APINK, BTOB, Heize, and more.

ZICO also has 157 songs under his name, and has written for BLOCK B, Verbal Jint, Park Boram, Hyorin, Crush, Song Mino, f(x), and more.
