GOT7 Youngjae Reveals the Group Became Closer After Focusing on Individual Activities
Recently on January 4, fashion magazine The Star unveiled the interview and cover photos they had with GOT7 member, Youngjae.
During the interview portion, The Star had asked about his friendship with his fellow GOT7 members, and wondered if their relationship had changed ever since all seven members parted from JYP Entertainment back in January 2021 to pursue their individual promotions and activities.
Hearing this, Youngjae revealed that their friendship is still very good, and they have become more closer.
"No, we are still very good with each other. In fact, we have actually become even closer since we parted ways," the GOT7 member said.
He added that the members also talk a lot in their group chat and would often talk about random things, saying, "We talk a lot in our group chat. Our conversations consist of a lot of unimportant things, but it is really fun."
Of course, some arguments are inevitable, but Youngja assures that GOT7 makes sure to resolve it when it happens.

"We do fight occasionally, but we will always make sure that we make up with each other right away. We will discuss and compromise together," Youngjae said.
Youngjae adds that if they must, they would discuss for several hours until they were able to resolve the issue.
"We are like, 'We can do it! Let's make everything work'," Youngjae reenacts.
Meanwhile, following GOT7's departure from JYP Entertainment, each member signed on to different labels. Youngjae went on to sign at Sublime Artist Agency; Mark launched his own studio Mark Tuan Studio for his Chinese activities; Jay B at H1GHR Music; Jackson continued on with Team Wang; Jinyoung at BH Entertainment; Bambam at Abyss Company; and Yugyeom at AOMG.
The group's latest track prior to parting ways was thir non-album single "Encore," which was released back on February 20.
They also clarified that while they will be focusing on their individual activities for the time being, the group has not disbanded and will reunite again in the future.

GOT7 Youngjae's Latest Activities
As mentioned, Youngjae signed on with Sublime Artist Agency, and subsequently went to star in the musical "Midnight Sun."
In October 2021, he made his solo debut with his mini-album "Colors from Ars," which features seven tracks and peaked at No. 6 on Gaon's Album chart.
He went to land his first lead role in the web series " Love & Wish" in December, and released his digital single called "Walk With Me."
