NCT Dream Comeback 2022: Boy Group Reportedly Returning in March
On Jan. 27, the Korean media outlet No Cut News released an exclusive report about NCT Dream returning to the music scene this year.
According to the report, NCT Dream's comeback this 2022 has been set to take place in March. It will come with the release of a new album. It is also stated that the seven-member boy group is currently preparing their upcoming album.

If the report will be confirmed, it would be the septet's first comeback this year as well as their first in nine months since their repackaged album "Hello Future" was dropped in June 2021.
NCT Dream made it big in the K-pop industry last year with their first studio album "Hot Sauce" and its repackaged version "Hello Future." With these two, the group earned the "triple million seller" title.
NCT Dream's comeback with "Hot Sauce" in May of last year is one of the band's successful times in their career. It can be recalled that the studio album a whopping sold two million copies in just 16 days after its release.

The septet went on to impress everyone when their repackaged album "Hello Future" sold approximately 1.19 million copies as of July 2021. Moreover, "Hello Future" claimed the records of highest first-day sales and second-highest first-week sales of any repackaged album in the history of the Hanteo Chart.
In its first week, "Hello Future" sold a total of 681,316 copies. To date, it is bested by BTS' "Love Yourself: Answer."
Because of the boy group's several achievements in 2021, NCT Dream's comeback in March 2022 is projected to gain lots of attention from fans and expectations on their new music are predicted to be high.
As of writing, SM Entertainment has not yet released an official statement to confirm the report.
NCT Dream Enters Various Gaon Charts for Third and Fourth Week of 2022
In other news, NCT Dream made the latest rankings of various Gaon Charts for the third week of 2022 (Jan. 9 to 15).
On the weekly Gaon Album Chart, NCT Dream's "Hello Future," which has been certified double million seller, dropped two spots to No. 33.

The studio album "Hot Sauce," which was certified million seller, also climbed down the rankings. It ranked No. 47 after placing No. 35 in the previous week.
Meanwhile, on the Gaon Retail Album Chart for the fourth week of 2022 (Jan. 16 to 22), "Hot Sauce" placed No. 32 with 1,207 more copies sold, while "Hello Future" ranked No. 40 with 725 additional copies sold.
On the weekly Gaon Social Chart for the third week of the year, NCT Dream climbed up four spots to No. 29. They are the highest-ranking sub-unit of NCT on the list as NCT 127 placed No. 36.
On the other hand, NCT Dream has no entries on the latest weekly charts for digital, download and streaming.
