Back on February 3, HyunA and DAWN swept the K-Pop community when they announced their engagement after six years of dating through their Instagram accounts, along with a video of their matching engagement rings.
The couple drew attention when DAWN posted a video with the caption "MARRY ME," to which HyunA posted the same video along with the caption, "Of course, yes."

Following their engagement, the couple has been the talk of the town. In particular, one past video of the couple has resurfaced and is now gaining attention once again, due to a remark DAWN said regarding HyunA.
Back in September 2021, HyunA and DAWN appeared as the 13th guests for the Youtube channel Studio Waffle's episode of "Turkids on the Block."

DAWN on 'Turkids on the Block'
In this episode, "Turkids on the Block" host Lee Yong Jin mentioned how he heard that HyunA showed interest in DAWN first, and had asked the two lovebirds if they promised not to delete each other's photos on social media if they ever break up.
Lee Yong Jin then turned to DAWN and asked him if he and HyunA will ever break up. To this, DAWN said, "I thought about it, but I think I can let it [social media account] go. I can just open another account."

But what caught fans attention was what he said after, in which he expressed his love for his girlfriend. "I won't love anyone again even if I break up with her," DAWN said.
Hearing his answer, HyunA smacked DAWN's neck, and said, "Stop it," causing others to laugh.

DAWN's romantic remarks are now being put in the spotlight amid the two's pending marriage.
