She sat down on a sofa in the waiting room side by side with co-member Momo and showed various poses while saying, "Hello, ONCE. It's been a while." Jeongyeon added, "It's been a long time since I've shown my face to my fans and performed live."

When asked how she had been, the female idol replied, "I've been doing so well."

During her hiatus in August 2021, Jeongyeon joined a few stages with TWICE during the release of their first full-English track, "The Feels" in October and "Scientist" in November.

With her sudden weight gain on her appearance at that time, Jeongyeon received mixed opinions, some criticized her. But fans were saddened when they learned that her weight increase is a side effect of taking steroid medication following her herniated disk surgery.

Standing in front of the camera again, Jeongyeon looked relatively healthy with blonde hair and lost some weight. Her weight loss is reportedly a good sign that the female idol is recovering her health.

TWICE initially completed their first concert stop in Seoul last December but Jeongyeon failed to attend due to the same health issue. As she was recovering, there are assumptions that she will finally join TWICE's U.S. Tour. However, it is too early to decide on her return.

An official from JYP Entertainment explained to Dispatch, "Jeongyeon's condition has not recovered 100% yet."
