SNSD Taeyeon Who Debuted 5 Times Without Break Draws Mixed Reactions

From 2007 to 2022, SNSD Taeyeon Debuted 5 Times Without Break
Taeyeon, who has been working hard since her debut, is drawing attention. This is because the SNSD leader and main vocalist, who will be commemorating her 16th debut anniversary in 2022, has never rested a year since the start of her career.
In particular, the "Gee" singer who made a splendid debut in 2007 under SM Entertainment with debut album, "Into the New World," since then created huge hits, "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)," "Oh!" and more each year until 2012, earning the modifier, "Nation's Girl Group."
In that year, the sub-unit TaeTiSeo (TTS) composed of Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun, members of SNSD was introduced. Due to popularity, the group worked in various ways between Japan and Korea.

Amid preparation for TTS's special album, "Dear Santa," released in 2015, Taeyeon then decided to pursue her solo career and debuted for the third time by dropping solo debut EP, "I."
Due to her unrivaled vocal skills, her fame as a soloist skyrocketed and became known for numerous hits, "Four Seasons," "Happy," "Weekend," etc., establishing herself as a solo diva as well as Girls' Generation.
In 2018, Taeyeon debuted for the fourth time through SNSD's second sub-group, Oh!GG, along with remaining members in SM; Yoona, Sunny, Hyoyeon and Yuri.
Since 2020, Taeyeon has been a regular member of tvN's entertainment program "Amazing Saturday" and has been carrying out a nonstop schedule.
In January 2022, Taeyeon became the leader of SM Entertainment's mega-project girl group "GOT the Beat" and showed off her splendid performance and unrelenting vocal prowess. A month after, the female icon released her third full-length solo album "INVU" on February 14, heralding a full-packed career this year again without a break.

SONEs' concert immediately circulated on various online communities, attracting divided reactions from fans, particularly SONEs (fandom of SNSD).
As Taeyeon being "workaholic" drew attention again, fans expressed admiration and support for the singer but also worries.
Fans conveyed their happiness, highlighting that they are extremely proud of the female idol being the "face" of "hard work." In line with her 16th debut anniversary, netters wrote and praised her, saying, "It's amazing," and "I hope you can continue to sing good songs for a long time," more.
On the flip side, some are also raising concerns about whether she will have a hard time having no rest since 2007.
In 2019, Taeyeon first opened up about her suffering from depression and was being treated by taking medicines. Fans expressed their worry and commented how she deserves a break once in a while for working 100% in every work. Some wrote, "You did well, Taengoo," and "Please relax as well, Taeyeon."
