Apink Bomi Causes Concern for Extreme Diet and Drastic Weight Loss
On an online community forum, one post from February 21 gained attention. In this post, readers weighed in on Apink member Bomi's extreme diet and drastic weight loss.
The post had shared a video of one of Apink's stage performances for their recently released song, "Dilemma," in which Bomi can be seen boldly showing off her slender physique in a matching pink crop top and short pants as her stage outfit.

As Bomi was wearing the crop top, the idol's waist was exposed enough that her ribs can be seen when she is dancing. People also noted how Bomi's face seemed more pale compared to when she doing her own individual activities.
In fact, it was reported that Bomi had lost a significant amount of weight prior to Apink's comeback as she went on a diet for the album release.
Back in January 2021, the Apink member had actually confessed to feeling the side effects of dieting in the SBS variety program, "Fantasy House."

During that time, Bomi confessed to losing around 8kg to 9kg (around 18lbs to 20lbs) of weight suddenly. Following her weight loss, she reveals that her immunity had weakened and that she developed atopic dermatitis (eczema), which causes her skin to itch and turn red.
She also shared at that time that while she was not in pain from her dieting, she did feel like several ants were crawling all over her body.
Bomi also revealed that she was not allowed to scratch her skin due to her atopic dermatitis, so she ended up tying her hands with stockings when she sleeps to avoid accidentally scratching herself.

"But when I woke up in the morning, I would scratch my skin without realizing and there would be blood," Bomi said.
Following the post, many could not help but be worried about the idol's dieting methods and the amount of weight she lost.
Meanwhile, Apink made a comeback with their special album "HORN" after a year and 10 months.
Apink Eunji and Hayoung Test Positive For COVID-19
After promoting Apink's new album and songs, members Eunji and Hayoung contracted the COVID-19 virus, according to IST Entertainment's press release.
The label said that the two members had begun feeling unwell in the morning of February 27, and after taking self-testing kits and PCR tests, confirmed that they are positive for COVID-19 the following day.
Eunji and Hayoung are now in self-quarantine and are not experiencing any particular symptoms. While the rest of the members, Bomi, Chorong, and Namjoo had tested negative.
