On March 14, YG Entertainment released a Q&A session with WINNER member Kang Seungyoon, who is about to make a solo comeback today with his new single "Born to Love You."

"Born to Love You" is a song that expresses the emotions of a person who can not accept to be separated from from someone he loves. It is because they have many beautiful memories of love together.

TREASURE Bang Yedam wrote the lyrics for WINNER Seungyoon's "Born to Love You" and also took part in the song's composition along with ROVIN and LeeSS.

When asked about his first impression of the song, the WINNER member confessed, "I fell in love with it the first time I heard it." He continued that the track is an emotional R&B with YG's unique trendiness.
"I've been wanting to hear this style of music, not the rock or folk-based songs that I had previously released. TREASURE Yedam and the producer hyungs also told me that it was a song that suited me well, so that's the one I prepared," Kang further said.

During the Q&A, WINNER Seungyoon was also asked, "How was the collaboration with producer Bang Yedam?" to which he responded, "Yedam and I have been working on music together for a long time. We know the strengths of each other's voices, so I thought there would be a good synergy."
He went on to say that TREASURE Bang Yedam is "really good." He always felt the rookie idol was good at composing songs in a trendy way.
"But, this time he was also surprised by his ability to write lyrics," he added.

Kang Seungyoon went on to say, "The depth of emotion in the lyrics was amazing. There is a part where the main character in the song suddenly pours out his sincerity while talking dryly to his past lover."
He concluded that "Born to Love You" seemed simple, but he was impressed with the delicate emotions it expresses. "The lyrics were completely entrusted to Yedam," he added.
WINNER Seungyoon's "Born to Love You" that was written by TREASURE Bang Yedam is due out today at 6 p.m. KST.

The group's leader said that many stages will be shown for the first time, from WINNER songs to solo tracks by the members. He continued that the members are suggesting various ideas. It will be their first concert after a long hiatus as a group.
WINNER Seungyoon commented, "It feels different from when I was preparing for my solo concert last year. Once the members are together, I feel really strong and energetic. Even on stage, I am more confident because I am not alone."
