aespa Karina Shares Photobooth Photos Taken With Kep1er Kim Chae Hyun
Recently on March 29, aespa member Karina took to the fan messaging app, Bubble, where she spent time with fans and talked about what she has been up to lately.
While chatting with fans, Karina revealed that she met up with her friend and fellow K-Pop idol for the first time in a while - and that is none other than Kep1er member, Kim Chae Hyun!

Aside from revealing that she is friends with Kim Chae Hyun, Karina also shared a photo with the rookie idol, in what appears to be a photo taken from a photobooth.
"This was when I met Chae Hyun for the first time in a long while. Do you know just how adorable she is?" Karina said as she shared the photo of the two.
The photo Karina shared showed off their adorable friendship, with Karina and Kim Chae Hyun, who is two years younger than the aespa member, giving four cute and different poses for the camera.

Along with the photo, Karina also shared with fans a video that shows her and Kim Chae Hyun in the photobooth making the poses.
Karina and Kim Chae Hyun's friendship doesn't come off as too much of a surprise, as the latter was actually a trainee at SM Entertainment, aespa's label, before joining to compete on the Mnet survival program "Girls Planet 999," and eventually making her debut as a member of Kep1er in October 2021.

In fact, reports say that Karina and Kim Chae Hyun actually trained at SM Entertainment together. And despite the two no longer under the same label and have separate budding careers, it seems like they still managed to keep in touch with each other frequently.
Following Karina's sharing of the photo and video, many couldn't help but find their friendship adorable and hope for more interactions in the future!

Kep1er to Participate in Mnet's 'Queendom 2'
In other news, Kep1er is confirmed to participate in the second season of Mnet's reality competition program, "Queendom," alongside groups VIVIZ, Brave Girls, WJSN (Cosmic Girls), LOONA, and former SISTAR member Hyolyn.
The show, which will be hosted by Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, is set to premiere on March 31.
