Sandara Park, also known as Dara, gained global popularity after making her debut as a member of the legendary K-Pop girl group, 2NE1, back in 2009. Later, rhe group became well-known of their experimental and out-of-the-box music and fashion style.

And like most K-Pop idols in the industry, Sandara Park had to lose weight or maintain her figure during her promotions in the past. With that, how did the 2NE1 member maintain her weight and achieve her abs? Here's what we know about Sandara Park's diet and workout routine!

Sandara Park Workout Routine

Sandara Park has always had a slim figure, which can be attributed to her genes. In fact, even before she became a trainee at YG Entertainment and became subjected to diets and workouts, the 2NE1 member was already boasting the same figure she has today.

However, through the years, Sandara Park has openly talked about her difficulties gaining weight, and currently weighs around 41kg to 45kg, while standing at 162cm (5'3") tall.

Despite that, Sandara Park still tries to include a workout or two in her daily routine to maintain her figure and muscles.

When it comes to Sandara Park's workout routine, it is a given that dance practices was one of her main forms of workouts back when she was still active as a member of 2NE1.

As a group, 2NE1 had to work out a lot during their rookie years. She focuses on cardio and boxing based on the training curated for the members by YG Entertainment's in-house trainers.

But now that she is focusing on her solo career, Sandara Park is free to do as she pleases.

Over on her social media, the idol sometimes shares photos of her at the gym. However, she didn't specify what kind of workouts she does.

Sandara Park also practices dancing from time to time, as seen on her Youtube channel where she shares videos of her dancing with 1MILLION Studio's choreographers.

More recently, the "Fire" hitmaker shared on her Instagram her routine to achieve her washboard abs.

When it comes to her abs, Sandara Park revealed that she does cardio for an hour on an empty stomach every morning, and that she also enlists the help of a personal trainer.

In addition to her home training and diet, she also does 400 repetitions of sit-ups right before she goes to bed.

It is well-known in the industry that Sandara Park has a small appetite and has been working on increasing it through the years.

This means that she doesn't restrict herself when it comes to the type of food she eats. She even eats ramen in the morning for breakfast!

But of course, she also likes to watch her weight for when she has special events or performances to attend to.

For times like these, Sandara Park sticks to eating bananas, eggs, sweet potatoes, and strips of chicken breasts.
