(G)I-DLE Yuqi Fails to Win Ticket for Miyeon's Fan Signing Event

Back on April 27, (G)I-DLE member Miyeon made her solo debut with the release of her first mini album "My," featuring the lead single "Drive." Following her album's release, Miyeon has been holding events to celebrate her solo debut, including fan signing events.

Fellow (G)I-DLE member Yuqi took to the group's Universe official chat to share with fans how she had tried to win a ticket to one of Miyeon's fan signing events.

Yuqi revealed that in order to get a ticket, she had bought several of Miyeon's solo album. "I bought [Miyeon's] albums to win a ticket to her fan signing event, but I didn't manage to win a ticket. Miyeon unnie is too popular!" Yuqi cutely complained.

Then on May 7, during Miyeon's video fan signing event, one fan had told the idol about Yuqi trying to get a ticket to her fan signing, saying, "Did you hear that Yuqi failed to get a ticket to your fan signing event?"

Hearing this, Miyeon expressed her shock because this is the first time she heard about it. "What? Really? Isn't [Yuqi] just saying it? I have to check if it is true," Miyeon told the fan.

Following her fan signing event, Miyeon then took to NAVER V LIVE to hold a live broadcast and interact with fans on May 8 for about half an hour.

During her live broadcast, Miyeon talked about what the fan said regarding Yuqi trying to get a ticket to her fan signing event. After personally asking Yuqi about it, she revealed that her fellow (G)I-DLE member did, in fact, buy several of her albums to get a ticket.

"Yuqi mentioned it to me first, so I had asked her for more details. Apparently, she really did buy my albums. She told me that she about five of my albums, but she had failed to win a ticket [to the fan signing]," Miyeon shared.

Hearing this, numerous fans couldn't help but laugh that Yuqi experienced what fans usually go through, while others found Yuqi's love for Miyeon really adorable.
