1. Girl's Day Minah Once Reveals EXO D.O. as Her Ideal Type
During an interview in 2013 with Girl's Day, Minah confessed that she finds EXO D.O. as the closest to her ideal type. At that time, the group asked the MC for EXO's numbers, and Minah specifically asked for the "I'm Gonna Love You" singer's digits.
Minah even claimed to be a rival of her co-member Hyeri, who also chose D.O. as her ideal type during the broadcast.
2. Girl's Day Minah Was Scouted in a Vocal Training School
Ever since she was young, Minah narrated that she really has a passion for music, influenced by international artist, Beyoncé.
As she was doing well academically during middle school, her parents let her take vocal lessons from a vocal training school.
With her skills and talents, the principal saw her potential in her and because of this, the educator who is the founder of Dream T Entertainment personally cast her from the school.
3. Girl's Day Minah Has a Special License to Operate Excavator
Despite her delicate image, Minah can actually legally operate heavy types of equipment aside from cars after acquiring a special license for it.
She particularly studied operating such machinery for a variety show called "Ecovillage," which aired in 2014.
4. Minah Dated Soccer Star Son Heung Min
From 2014 to 2015, the "Darling" singer actually had a romantic relationship with soccer player Son Heungmin, the same guy who was rumored to be dating BLACKPINK Jisoo.
In 2014, their dating news broke after being spotted out on a date near Gangnam Station and Han River Park. At that time, Dream T initially denied the reports but later on clarified that the news was true. They apologized for the confusion and explained that the two were only at the beginning stage of dating.
Unfortunately, the power couple announced their break up in the following year due to busy schedules.
5. Girl's Day Minah's Sister Is Also a K-pop Idol
It seems like the idol gene truly runs in their blood! Known for her stage name Linah, the older sister of the idol debuted under a K-pop group called Wanna.B.
