On the May 25 episode of tvN's "You Quiz on the Block," CL appeared as a guest on the "Secret of OO" segment of the entertainment show. There, she talked about 2NE1's reunion at Coachella that took place in Indio, California last April.

One of the moments CL recalled was the part where they were on their way home following their "I AM THE BEST" performance at the music festival.

She said, "It took us about 40 minutes to get home. The members didn't say anything to one another [while in the car] but we all realized how precious the 2NE1 performance was. I think all of us felt the same after getting in the car and looking at the window."
The "Let It" singer continued that they enjoyed the rest of the night at that time. They ate burgers and bibimmyeon, and even danced and sang to 2NE1 songs.

CL went on to confess that she cried in front of 2NE1 members for the first time ever the following day after their Coacehalle reunion. She said, "Dara unnie and Bom unnie were returning to Korea the next day. I had never cried in front of the members until that day. I cried a lot."
She added, "After saying goodbye to Bom unnie, I cried so much to that point that she left for the airport with a tearful farewell."

In a previous episode of "You Quiz on the Block" featuring Sandara Park, she recalled how CL cried while seeing her leave for Korea. She shared, "Chaelin (CL) cried a lot when we were on our way in a car. She kept holding my hands and crying."
"CL doesn't do that often. She's cool and is the kind of person who can stay calm in most situations, but at that time, she cried the most," Dara added.

Park further said that CL told her while crying, "I will be so lonely when all the members go back to Korea." Dara concluded, "I think she was worried that such a moment would never happen again."

During her appearance on "You Quiz on the Block," CL also talked about how she prepared for 2NE1's reunion stage at Coachella.
She shared, "I wanted to prepare for a surprise performance. I was afraid I would get caught in the middle."

The "SPICY" singer then revealed that she practiced the "I AM THE BEST" choreography at a dance academy in secret. This dance academy is run by her former 2NE1 bandmate Gong Minzy.

CL detailed, "The cllass ended at 10 o'clock and we got together at 11 o'clock to practice quietly and then took a taxi home. I only shared it with my relatives."
When asked for the reason for keeping the secret a secret, she stated, "It's a surprise. I thought we might not be able to do well as we prepared it in a hurry, but we wanted to show it after preparing quietly."

Concerning what she felt after 2NE1's reunion at Coachella, CL shared, "I really wanted us to gather up once, I was sorry that I couldn't greet fans properly because I was invited to Coachella alone at first, but I felt like it was the right time [for our reunion]."
She continued, "It was a new stage and challenge for the members, and I was really grateful for them when for accepting my invitation."
