One of the NewJeans members is Haerin. Limited information is known about this rookie idol. But on July 24, her alleged friend made a post on an online community to describe Haerin as a person.

In the post, her "friend" said, "Ever since the first grade in middle school, she was already known to be pretty. After getting close to her, I realized that she was the softest and kindest person I've met."

"When she talks, she never swears and she only talks prettily," the netizen continued. "She also talks in a very quiet way. Her face and her heart are both beautiful, that's why she was famous."
The online community user went on to say, "Even in situations when she could feel offended, she just smiled and said it was fine and let it slide. She also gave good reactions to her friends' words and she was just always smiling. She was perfect, like an angel. I feel like crying while writing this."

NewJeans Haerin's alleged friend also shared that the rookie idol got cast right in front of their school when she was alone. The netizen also described her as someone with a "super small" face, huge eyes, white skin, and who is "shockingly pretty."
"She transferred in the middle of our middle school years so we lost contact," the "friend" recalled. "But when I heard news of her becoming a trainee, and her MV suddenly released, lots of kids who were close to her released IG stories about it on their private IG. Everyone welcomed the news and wished her success."
