From Queen Guitarist Brian May To Robbie Williams, Music's Elite Are Lining Up To Collaborate With Psy

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong may have called him the "herpes of music," but a long line of other A-list music superstars are expressing interest in collaborating with Psy, including Singer Robbie Williams and Brian May of Queen.

"I've met Psy! I love him," Williams told Capital FM. "I want to do something with him. I've definitely got a feeling it could happen.

The "Candy" singer said he thinks he could learn a lot form Psy.

"I get the feeling that he networks well," Williams said.

"I could learn from him, I'd like to be in the studio with him and come up with something, it would be fun!"

Sunday night at the Capital FM Summertime Ball held at London's Wembley Stadium, Psy returned Robbie's compliment, thanking the star for giving his internationally celebrated music video "Gangnam Style" some love when he needed it the most.

"I really wanna thank Robbie Williams because he was kind of first guy who made a link from my 'Gangnam Style video' on his blog," Psy told MTV News UK.

"That was [in the] really early days like last August, so I got a step up by him and I've got to thank him."

Backstage at the Summertime Ball, Psy and Williams posed for a photo together that K-pop's favorite "Gentleman" quickly posted to his Twitter account.

"I've been a fan of this guy for a long time and just got that he's also a fan of me! OMG!" Psy tweeted.

But Robbie Williams isn't the only superstar that has expressed interest in a Psy collaboration.

Brian May, guitarist of seminal 1970s rock band Queen, is scheduled to have a breakfast meeting with Psy on Tuesday.

"You remember that I was and I am a really huge fan of rock band Queen?" Psy asked BBC Radio 1's Scott Mills.

"It seems like I'm going to have a brunch with Brian May tomorrow,"

The host asked the oppa if he thought a musical collaboration with the rock legend was likely.

"Seems like it," Psy said. "I don't know, I'm just going to eat tomorrow, but I'm super excited. The band was an inspiration to me since I was 14 or 15, until now."

Psy opened up to the Sun newspaper on Sunday that it was Queen's iconic performance at Wembley Stadium that made him want to become a performer.

"If it wasn't for Queen at Wembley, I wouldn't be a pop star," Psy said.

''When I was growing up I would watch Freddie Mercury with all those fans in the palm of his hand. He is the best.''
