As part of their comeback promotions, SNSD performed "FOREVER 1" on various Korean music shows in the past few days. Their group performances were then uploaded to YouTube by the music programs. But apart from their group stages, fancams of all members are also shared on the platform.

On Aug. 20, SNSD appeared on MBC's "Music Core" and their full-group performance and the members' fancams were posted on YouTube on the same day.
Among the individual videos, SNSD Sooyoung's "FOREVER 1" fancam garnered much attention from SONEs, with the reason simply being her hair.

One SONE took to Facebook to share a one-minute clip taken from Sooyoung's "FOREVER 1" fancam on "Music Core." The fan wrote, "Sooyoung's hair said: 'LET ME DANCE ! LET ME DANCE !."
It can be seen in the video that SNSD Sooyoung's long, straight hair flips at some points of the choreography. In fact, she's the only member with her hair dancing throughout the performance.

As her hair flipping resembles that of a shampoo commercial, SONEs think she's perfect to be a shampoo endorser.

"I tried her hair flips but I ended up hurting my neck and nape. Only Sooyoung can pull it off."

While this may be the first time that some fans witnessed Sooyoung flipping her hair during a performance, she actually does it every time she performs on stage and her fellow SNSD members are well aware of this. They even talked about it when they appeared on "Knowing Bros" on Aug. 13, saying that hair flipping is Sooyoung's habit when dancing and they find it annoying.

Hyoyeon explains that Sooyoung flicks her head to flaunt her charms, and that she executes dance moves so much that her hair bounces.
To defend herself, Sooyoung explained that she has thick hair, so even if she moves even a little bit, her hair moves a lot.

In other news, Sooyoung uploaded a letter after wrapping up comeback promotions with SNSD. The group's last activity for "FOREVER 1" is their participation in "SMTOWN Live 2022: SMCU EXPRESS" in Suwon.

In her letter she uploaded to Instagram on Aug. 23, the idol-actress said, "The reason this comeback took a while is that the message we convey is more important than what kind of music we release. To put weight on the message we want to give, it was important for us to think about 'what kind of people' we are."

She added, "So when we decided to release an album, we contemplated about the message we will share. But we thought it was better to share with our SONEs who have been waiting for the whole group for so long, without knowing if we would come back or not, that 'we are still here.'
