Missing SHINee? Latest Activities of Onew, Minho, Key, & Taemin

While SHINee remains an active group, their last Korean release as a whole group was back in April 2021 with their repackaged album "Atlantis," which features the lead single of the same name. The group also released their Japanese mini album "Superstar" in June 2021. Since then, the four members have been busy focusing on their individual careers.

SHINee Members' Latest Activities

1. Onew

Onew

Onew is the leader and lead vocalist of the group. Following the release of "Atlantis" and "Superstar," he became a cast member for JTBC's variety program Sea of Hope, which aired from June to September 2021. He also became a cast member for the shows March of the Ants and Soldier Idol Camp in the same year.

This year, Onew has his own new show called Hello Onew. And since 2020, the SHINee member has been starring in the program Jinki Jangpan.

Besides appearing on variety programs, Onew also released solo music. He sang several songs for SMTOWN, as well as lent his voice for numerous drama OSTs. Some of the dramas he sang an OST for include You Are My Spring, High Class, and Forecasting Love and Weather.

He also released his second mini album "Dice" back in April 2022, as well as his Japanese mini album "Who Sings? Vol.1" in June 2022. More recently, he released his first Japanese studio album "Life Goes On" in July.

Besides music, Onew is also active as an actor. He took on the main role in the musical Midnight Sun, and will appear in the upcoming film 4:44 Seconds.

2. Minho

Minho

SHINee's main rapper, sub vocalist, and visual member Minho has been pretty active in broadcasts and acting. He appeared on numerous broadcasts as a main cast for the shows Law of the Jungle - Pioneers, Extreme Debut: Wild Idol, Legendary Actors, and King of Golf Season 2.

He also co-hosts the web show Chang Min-ho's Buddy Buddy with TVXQ Changmin. He also hosted the Naver Now radio program Best Choice.

Minho

As an actor, Minho had made a special appearance in the dramas Lovestruck in the City and Yumi's Cells. This year, he is starred in the horror film New Normal, and is slated to star in the upcoming Netflix drama The Fabulous.

Since 2021, Minho has only released a few singles. He released his solo single "Heartbreak" in December 2021, followed by the Japanese singles "Romeo and Juliet" and "Falling Free" in 2022.

3. Key

Key

Key is the group's lead rapper, lead dancer, and sub vocalist. He has been active in both broadcasts and his music career. In September 2021, Key released his second mini album "Bad Love," followed by his second studio album "Gasoline" with a lead single of the same name recently in August of this year.

Since 2018, Key has been a regular cast member of tvN's variety program Amazing Saturday. He has also been a regular cast member of MBC's I Live Alone since 2021. Back in 2021, Key also co-hosted the show TaengKey Box with his close friend and Girls' Generation member Taeyeon.

Key is also set to hold his solo concert entitled G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) in the Keyland on October 22 to October 23 in Seoul, and on November 19 to November 20 in Japan.

4. Taemin

Taemin

And finally, SHINee's main dancer, sub vocalist, and youngest member Taemin is currently on hiatus from idol activities. Taemin enlisted for his mandatory military service in March 2021, and was scheduled to be discharged in November 2022.

However, he was moved to become a public service worker instead due to the worsening of his panic disorder and depression while serving. As a result, it was also announced that Taemin's discharge date would be moved to a later date, with his discharge now schedule to be in March 2023.
