The final lineup of artists attending the 2022 Genie Music Awards has been announced. Keep reading to learn if your favorite artist is included on the list.

2022 Genie Music Awards Reveals Final Lineup of Artists

On Oct. 25, the 2022 Genie Music Awards announced that five more artists are joining the lineup of singers attending this year's award show. They are PSY, Jaurim, NCT Dream, LIGHTSUM, and TNX.

All of the said artists released new music this year and achieved great feats. PSY, in particular, dropped his ninth full album "PSY 9th" in April. The album's title track "That That" (featuring and produced by BTS Suga) topped iTunes Song charts in a total of 73 different regions and debuted at No. 80 on Billboard's Hot 100. It also entered at No. 62 on the UK Official Singles chart and earned over 350 million views on YouTube.

NCT Dream solidified their position as one of the top K-pop groups by becoming a triple-million seller with their two new albums. Their second studio album "Glitch Mode" and its repackaged version "Beatbox" sold a total of 3.61 million copies as of May this year.

Then, NCT Dream made history as the only seventh idol group to hold a concert at Seoul Olympic Stadium, the biggest stadium in South Korea.

LIGHTSUM, CUBE Entertainment's new girl group, gradually gets recognized by different countries in the world. Their first mini-album "Into the Light" ranked first on iTunes Album charts in at least 10 regions. Moreover, they won Rookie of the Year at the 2022 Korea First Brand Awards.

Finally, TNX, the boy group under P Nation that was formed through SBS's boy group audition show "LOUD," already established a fanbase in multiple countries as soon as they debuted. Their debut album "WAY UP" debuted at No. 11 on the Worldwide iTunes Album chart and at No. 17 on the European iTunes Album chart. "WAY UP" also landed in the top 10 of iTunes Album charts in several regions. What's more, TNX earned the Hottest award at The Fact Music Awards 2022.

Meanwhile, Jaurim is one of Korea's representative rock bands. They are known for their numerous hit songs such as "Hey, Hey, Hey," "Magic Carpet Ride," "Deviation," "Song of Ha Ha Ha," to name a few.

Furthermore, according to the Genie Music Awards, a lineup of "global artists" also plan to perform at this year's ceremony.

Hosted by Jun Hyung Moo, the 2022 Genie Music Awards will take place on Nov. 8 in Incheon at Incheon Namdong Gymnasium and will recognize music released between Oct. 1, 2021 and Oct. 5, 2022. This is the ceremony's first offline event since 2019.

Other Artists Attending the 2022 Genie Music Awards

Apart from PSY, Jaurim, NCT Dream, LIGHTSUM, and TNX, there are other K-pop artists appearing at this year's Genie Music Awards.

On Oct. 18, Genie Music announced that the first lineup of artists include Red Velvet, IVE, and (G)I-DLE. Three days later, they revealed that the second lineup consists of Girls' Generation Taeyeon, The Boyz, DKZ, and Be'O.
