On Oct. 26, multiple Korean media outlets reported that BTS has submitted their latest projects to earn nominations at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

The releases eligible to be nominated at the prestigious award ceremony are those that were released between Oct. 1, 2021 and Sept. 30 of this year. Entries are then reviewed to determine eligibility and category placement.

After nominees have been chosen, final voting ballots are sent to NARAS voting members, who will then pick five nominees for each award and ultimate winner through a series of ballots. The voters cast ballots only in their fields of expertise.

According to Yonhap News, an American music industry official told them on the 26th that at least four BTS songs, including collaboration songs, were submitted. The tracks in question are "Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)," "My Universe" with Coldplay, "Left and Right" and "Bad Decisions" with Benny Blanco and Snoop Dogg. All these four songs were submitted for nominations for the Song of the Year and Record of the Year.

These tracks were also submitted for Best Pop Duo Group Performance, where BTS was nominated for two consecutive years. They were previously nominated for the said category with their representative songs "Dynamite" and "Butter."

Other than that, "Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)," "Bad Decision," and "Left and Right" were submitted for nominations for the Best Music Video category.

While "My Universe," "Bad Decisions" and "Left and Right" all feature BTS, it is assumed that these songs might have been submitted not by BTS but by the collaborating artists such as Benny Blanco, Snoop Dogg, Coldplay, and Charlie Puth.

In the case of Album of the year," it is interpreted that "Proof" could not be submitted due to it being an anthology album, as the Grammy requires that more than 75% of the of the playing time of the album be filled with newly recorded music. In "Proof," there are only three new tracks.
