There are several idols who re-debut in different groups despite already having debuted before. Some idols suit their new group better than their old group. Here are five girl group idols who suit their second group more than their first one.

1 & 2. LE SSERAFIM Sakura & Kim Chaewon

Both Sakura and Kim Chaewon were former members of IZ*ONE. They debuted with the group on October 29, 2018, and remained with the group until their disbandment on April 29, 2021.

During their time in IZ*ONE, the girl group promoted with an elegant concept. They were a 12-member group, and while all the members brought something new to the table, it was hard to stand out at times due to how many girls there were in the group.

A year after IZ*ONE's disbandment, Sakura and Kim Chaewon debuted in LE SSERAFIM on May 2, 2022. With the confident, girl crush concept, Sakura and Kim Chaewon are able to shine more.

They were able to improve while training under HYBE Labels and Source Music. There are only five members in the group, meaning their improvements shine more. Overall, the two idols seem more comfortable and in their element.

3. Kep1er Yujin

Yujin debuted with CLC on March 19, 2015. With CLC, she underwent several concept changes: from girly, to girl crush, to elegant. CLC disbanded on May 20, 2022.

She was able to grow a moderate fanbase with CLC, but as the group continued on with little success, their disbandment seemed to be on the horizon. The idol decided to join the survival show "Girls Planet 999" as her last chance as an idol. She finished in third place and debuted in Kep1er on January 3, 2022.

With Kep1er, Choi Yujin is finally receiving the recognition she deserves. They are one of the hottest rookies of 2022, and it catapulted Yujin's popularity.

4 & 5. IVE Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin

Both Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin were former members of IZ*ONE. They debuted with the group on October 29, 2018, and remained with the group until their disbandment on April 29, 2021.

Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin were prominent members of IZ*ONE, with Jang Wonyoung as their center and Ahn Yujin ranking fifth place. Their youthfulness perfectly complimented IZ*ONE's feminine, elegant image.

A few months after IZ*ONE's disbandment, Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin debuted in IVE. In IVE, the girls were able to reach a new level of popularity. Jang Wonyoung is considered the "It Girl" of the fourth generation and Ahn Yujin is garnering more brand deals.

IVE's concept is refreshing for Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin, and fans can now see a different side to these idols.
