A media outlet has reported that a third BTS member will release his solo album in November. Big Hit Music has since released a response.

On Nov. 1, JTBC News issued an exclusive report stating that music industry officials told them that BTS RM will drop a solo album this month. He is said to be in the final phases of working on his album, and his goal is to release it on Nov. 25. The format of the album, however, has not yet been decided.

While RM released two mixtapes in the past, the upcoming project will be his first official album release.

In response to the report, Big Hit Music stated, "RM is planning to release his solo album. He is currently working on it."

RM will be the third BTS member to release a solo album after nine years of debut, following J-Hope and Jin. J-Hope dropped his studio album "Jack in the Box" in July, while Jin released his solo single "The Astronaut" in October.

The BTS members have been focusing on their solo activities since their anthology album, "Proof," came out in June. Their latest group activity is the World Expo 2030 Busan concert on Oct. 15.

In addition to releasing his first solo album, BTS RM will host a variety show, titled "The Dictionary of Useless Human Knowledge," a follow-up program for "The Dictionary of Useless Knowledge" and "The Dictionary of Useless Crime Knowledge."

"The Dictionary of Useless Human Knowledge" will feature stories of different people in a variety of fields that will unfold from the stories of characters that go back and forth between imagination and reality to the stories of ordinary people wandering in life.

Experts from different areas such as forensics, literature, astronomy, and physics come together to increase the anticipation of viewers.

BTS RM and film director Jang Hang Joon will serve as the MCs who head the variety show. Meanwhile, physicist Kim Sang Kook and novelist Kim Young Ha will also join the program as panelists. Astronomer Shim Chae Kyungand forensic scientist Lee Ho will appear on the show, as well.

"The Dictionary of Useless Human Knowledge" will premiere in the winter.

BTS RM Makes Surprise Appearance at W Magazine's Recent Campaign Event With J-Hope

In other news, BTS RM made a surprise appearance at W Magazine's recent Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign event, called "Love Your W," which was held at the Seoul Four Seasons Hotel on Oct. 28. He came with his fellow BTS member J-Hope.

According to Dispatch, the two BTS members both boasted a sleek look in all-black outfits. W Korea also shared clips featuring the two and the other celebrities at the event on their official Instagram account. In one of the videos, RM performed, and J-Hope and ASTRO Cha Eunwoo can be seen rooting for him beside the stage.
