GOT7 Jinyoung Hilariously Reacts When Called 'Innocent' - Here's What He Said

On Nov. 16, GOT7 Jinyoung sat down for an interview with Marie Claire Korea to do a fact check, confirming the right information and correcting all the wrong details on his profile made by fans.

After verifying his name and birthday, he revealed that his birth place, which is said to be in Myeong-dong, Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, is wrong.

"It's Yongwon-dong," Jinyoung clarified. "Myeong-dong is where my grandparents live. Some people misunderstand that I was born and raised there. I was born and raised in Yongwon-dong."

The "NANANA" singer also corrected his height and weight, which are supposedly 178 cm and 63 kg. He revealed that he's actually 177cm tall and 70 kg heavy.

"I believe I should be honest with the accuracy of my height on the profile," he said. "My weight was 70 kg when I checked it recently. I grew up a bit."

Later on, Marie Claire Korea asked GOT7 Jinyoung to read a description of his appearance as defined by fans.

"He exudes a clean and innocent vibe and has strong facial features, and looks like a handsome actor," the idol read.

He thanked the fans for the flattering description but hinted that he might not be as innocent as what fans think.

"I'm very thankful for the kind words, but I don't think I am that innocent. Please don't be fooled by my looks," Jinyoung said before bursting into laughter.

The idol then reacted to another definition by a fan stating that he "Reminds me of my past first love." He also thanked the fan for the kind words, saying, "(I've said this before in a previous interview), but I really appreciate people seeing me that way."

In a past interview with Marie Claire Korea, GOT7 Jinyoung was asked about his "first love" image and said that it wasn't that "special" since many idols give off similar vibes.

Toward the end of the interview, the idol confirmed that he loves to eat homerun ball, Pepero, and other sweets during shoots. However, he stopped eating them recently, as he needs to stay in shape.

He shared that although he ate those snacks before, he didn't gain much weight, but these days, when he consumes any of them, he feels like he's a "water balloon," implying that he gains more pounds.

Jinyoung continued that when he eats something, his tummy gets bigger immediately. So, he tries to restrain himself from eating those sweets as much as possible.

GOT7 Jinyoung to Release Solo Album- Here's When

In other news, a representative of Jinyoung's company, BH Entertainment, announced that the GOT7 member will release his solo album and will hold a domestic fan meeting in January 2023.

The album's release was planned to commemorate Jinyoung's 10th debut anniversary this year. The idol-turned-actor took part in writing the lyrics and composing the songs that will be included in the album.

Following his fan meeting, he is set to go on an overseas tour to meet his global fans.
