Red Velvet Leaves ReVeluvs Impressed With Album Design for 'The ReVe Festival 2022 - Birthday'
One of the unique things about Red Velvet is their "Red" and "Velvet" concepts. The girl group's "Red" side is sweet, bubbly, and innocent pop music as shown in their previous songs such as "Rookie," "Dumb Dumb," and "Peek-A-Boo."
The girls' "Velvet" side is marked by softer, more sultry R&B. A few of the examples are their 2016 song "Cool Hot Sweet Love" and their 2018 global hit "Bad Boy."

Another thing that sets Red Velvet apart from other K-pop groups is how their albums turn out to be.
For instance, their "Red Summer" album features the members and some fruits in the cover and the CD was made to look like slices of the fruits used in the front cover.
Another example is their "Perfect Velvet" album that was inspired by the New York pizza box. Once you open it, the CD appears like a pizza.

This November, the quintet once again proved that they are one of the best when it comes to album designs.
On Nov. 24, Red Velvet shared a sneak peek of the packaging for the two versions of their upcoming mini-album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Birthday" (Cake Ver. and Photobook Ver.).
Of the two versions, the Cake Version drew the most attention, mainly because the album was designed to appear like a cake.
Additionally, there are five different cake decorations and colors to represent the five members - Irene, Wendy, Joy, Seulgi, and Yeri.
Well, since the title of the album has the word "Birthday," it's appropriate to have a cake-like album.

At the same time, many fans are demanding SM Entertainment to restock the Cake Version as it is already sold out on the designated online stores.
How is anyone supposed to get the cake ver if you let it sell out before you even showed us what it looked like? Why can't yall release details at the start of preorders like a normal company
