IU Tops Korea's 'Favorite Female Celebrity' 2022
IU, whose birth name is Lee Ji Eun, ranks second in the rankings of South Korea's "Favorite Celebrity" this 2022, with host Yoo Jae Suk as No. 1.
Still, she ranks first in the female category, and has been No. 1 "Favorite Female Celebrity" for five years straight.
The result represented her huge following, impact and a loving fanbase locally. Meanwhile, she has also attained massive prominence towards her international fans.
According to the survey, IU placed second in 2018 and 2019.
In 2020, she ranked third, while going up again in second place during 2021 and 2022, making her one of the most high-ranking female celebrities for five years.
IU As The 'Nation's Little Sister' & 'Nation's Sweetheart'
