5 K-pop Idols Known For Being Bookworms: EXO Kai, EXID Hani, More! [Updated 2023]
K-pop idols are known for being busy in their performances, variety shows, album production and fan meetings. Not to mention extra schedules consisting of photoshoots with different brands, choreography practice and many more.
Idols can also have their alone time since they're humans too. Most of them go shopping or eat outside, but here are some idols who enjoy a classic quiet hobby none other than reading!
With that said, here are some 5 K-pop idols who are known for being bookworms.
1. EXO Kai
EXO's main dancer Kai joins the list of idols who are known to be bookworms. Kai enjoys reading books a lot and there were numerous times where he recommended books to fans during fansigns.
The EXO member even cited his favorite author Keigo Higashino, the writer of such books as 'The Devotion of Suspect X' and 'The Empty Cross'
2. EXID Hani
Hani of EXID is definitely on the list due to her love for comic books! In a variety show episode, she disclosed her interest in manhwa books.
Adding further that when the group was on a lot of vacant hours, they would read a lot of manhwa, and Hani didn't waste a single second. It doesn't come off as surprising, due to Hani's carefree and funny personality.
3. GOT7 Jay B
GOT7 Jay B is know for his book reading routine during the morning. He simply loves books enough to feel incomplete if haven't read yet.

In GOT7 OFFLINE Ep. 6, he stated that he can read and think fast usually, and there are days that seemed slower. He indicated that reading a book in the morning is another way for him to check how he's feeling for the day.
4. SNSD Seohyun
SNSD's maknae Seohyun is known as a bookworm by a lot of fans. The idol loves books to the point of visiting every café with a book in hand, showing her bookworm side. She also mentioned a favorite, which is Park Seungil's "Writing Hope With Eyes."
5. SHINee Jonghyun
Jonghyun of SHINee joins the list of idol bookworms, due to his love for books! He even recommended his fans several books, which he's taken a liking for.
Jonghyun was interested on detective novels and mangas. He recommended books, such as "The Ultimate Secret," "Kafka On The Shore," and "Blindness."
Surprisingly, he also shared his passion for reading, by recommending the "Harry Potter" series. The "Harry Potter" set is one of the most cherished book collections in the world, and Jonghyun knows this enough to share it with the fans.
