NMIXX Jinni's Departure From Group Already Decided Last November? Here's What JYPE Did

It is believed that NMIXX Jinni's departure from the group was already decided last November because of a small yet notable detail on the girls' profile on portal sites. Also, it was found out that JYP Entertainment might never reveal why NMIXX Jinni left.

NMIXX Jinni's Departure From Group Already Decided Last November? Here's What JYPE Did

On Dec. 9, JYP Entertainment released an official statement announcing that Jinni is leaving NMIXX due to "personal circumstances." This came after just 10 months of her debut.

When the news was released, NSWERs can't help but be surprised and heartbroken. For many, Jinni was the reason they became a fan of NMIXX, and they see her as a perfect fit in the group.

Throughout her time under JYP, Jinni received so much love from netizens and fans for her amazing talents, captivating visuals, and charming personality.

However, while it was only announced this December that Jinni will leave NMIXX, her departure was already specified on major portal sites last November, according to Top Star News on the 9th.

Top Star News explained that modification requests were made in the rookie girl group's profile on Naver, Nate, and Daum, and each of them was done in November on the same day.

Every profile on the Korean portal sites has this "Provide Information" (or "Self-Participation") section, which has a displayed date that suggests when changes to the profile were requested.

Only the person who owns the profile or the company or agent affiliated with them have the capability to modify any information.

In NMIXX's profile on Naver, on Nate, and on Daum, the modification request date is very interesting, as it states that there were revisions made on Nov. 16- and it included Jinni's departure this month.

The updated profile of the rookie act shows that NMIXX has six current members and that Jinni parted ways with the group in December 2022. Considering that the group is under an agency, it's possible that JYP Entertainment was the one who requested to modify their profile information on the said portal sites.

With that, it is presumed that a decision about Jinni's future in NMIXX was made last month and that JYP Entertainment already took care of the profile modification of the group at that time. This could also mean that something had happened in November, which resulted in Jinni's exclusive contract getting terminated.

Right now, NSWERs are confused and upset by NMIXX Jinni's sudden departure from the group. Nobody saw this coming, especially because the female idol has been very active in the entertainment industry and on social media ever since her debut in February.

JYP Entertainment Might Never Reveal Why NMIXX Jinni Left Group & Agency

While many fans wanted to know what led to Jinni's unexpected leave, they might never get an explanation from the company unless the female idol herself decides to tell them.

The reason is that JYP Entertainment has a policy to never reveal why their artist left the agency in order for them to be successful in their future career outside of the label. This is according to J.Y. Park himself in an interview with Forbes.

J.Y. Park said, "We want them to be successful outside of our company. If they really did do something wrong, we will never say it-that's our policy. We truly want them to succeed when they leave. If we publicly reveal what they did when they leave, that will hurt them. That's not what we want."

Park also said that it's "painful" for them when they cannot explain to the public why something happened.
