IU Surprises T-ARA Jiyeon With Graceful Wedding Gift — Here's What The Artist Gave
On December 10, T-ARA Jiyeon and baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun were married privately at Shilla Hotel, Seoul. Singer actress IU paid Jiyeon a visit and gifted her with a lmeaningful present.

It was revealed that IU had gifted the couple with a handmade tiara, as her wedding present.

On December 12, Jiyeon wrote on her SNS, expressing her gratitude for IU.

She mentioned how emotional it was for her, seeing her perform in her wedding. Jiyeon then checked her text messages and she was shocked by IU's present reveal.
"You were the first to come and wait. I was crying again at the sight of you smiling brightly and dancing for me, a cry-baby. When I cleaned up and checked your texts, I stood there for a moment unable to think."

Afterwards, she cited IU's text message, revealing the pearl-filled tiara she had given to her.
In the message, IU expressed how the pearls are linked to Jiyeon's birthstone. She also believes Jiyeon will treasure it forever to look back on youthful memories. IU encouraged her to always live like a queen, well and happily.
"The pearls that correspond to your birthstone are my gift to you. I used those pearls to create a tiara. I believe that you would cherish it as a memory so that when you look back on it after a long time, you will remember how youthful you used to be when you were young. I think there's nothing that can be more meaningful than a tiara like this. Always live like a queen. I wish you a long and happy life."

Furthermore, Jiyeon added how grateful she is to have a friend who cares for her so much. She thanked IU for sharing wonderful memories with her, showcasing their strong friendship.
"I am so grateful to have a friend who cares for me this much. You have given me an unforgettable memory. I love you for being with me."

Going Through IU and Jiyeon's 12 Years Of Friendship
IU and Jiyeon have shared quite a history together since 2010, where they participated in SBS's Heroes program where they formed a strong bond, turning into an unbreakable friendship.

IU even supported her friend during the time when T-ARA was caught in a controversy, not hesitating for one second. In Gayo Daejeon 2015, IU made the move to engage Jiyeon in a conversation, showcasing how casual the two can be.
Likewise, Jiyeon also supported IU when the singer actress was involved in dating rumors with Super Junior's Eunhyuk, stating how sad she was when she couldn't comfort her when the allegations spread.
From supporting each other in rough patches, to attending each other's stages, the two went through peaks and valleys on their friendship.
