1. SHINee Minho's 'CHASE'
On December 12, SHINee Minho finally unveiled the music video of his much-anticipated first mini-album's title track, "CHASE."
On the same day, the physical album was also released, earning hot responses from K-pop fans, especially Shawols.
The songs from his album were initially unveiled on December 6, and the digital album immediately climbed atop 42 regions in iTunes Top Album Chart.
2. WEi's 'Gift For You'
On December 13, WEi dropped their first Christmas carol song, "Gift for You," the title track of their winter special album of the same name.
In the MV, the members were seen celebrating the holidays, flaunting their refreshing visuals and vocals.
3. Red Velvet X aespa's 'Beautiful Christmas'
On December 14, Red Velvet and aespa filled the music industry with their pure visuals and heavenly vocals as they dropped, "Beautiful Christmas."
Through this collaboration, Red Velvet and aespa present a special chemistry of SM Entertainment seniors and juniors, capturing the message of the song, "Today is the best moment with a precious person as well as lovely visuals."
The song is the title track and pre-release of its "2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE," a collaborative album by SM Entertainment artists.

1. Jinni Leaves NMIXX, JYP Entertainment

On December 9, JYP Entertainment announced that Jinni will be leaving NMIXX after contract termination with the agency.
The exact reason wasn't specified, but the agency stated that it was due to "personal circumstances."
2. TAEYANG x JIMIN Collab in January

On the same day, it was reported that BIGBANG Taeyang and BTS Jimin herald a collaboration project in January 2023, as part of Taeyang's upcoming solo comeback.
The news is yet to be confirmed by HYBE and YG Entertainment. However, it is true that the member of the "King of K-pop" BIGBANG Taeyang is preparing for his solo album.
3. BIGBANG T.O.P To Join dearMoon Project

On December 9, it was confirmed that T.O.P will join the #dearMoon project under the baton of Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa.
T.O.P will be the first Korean celebrity and idol to travel to space and tour the moon for six days via Elon Musk's SpaceX Starship.
4. BTS Jin's Military Enlistment
On December 13, BTS' "Worldwide Handsome" Jin officially entered the army's 5th Division's boot camp located in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, Korea.
Jin will serve as an active-duty soldier under the front-line unit after a five-week basic military training.
