MAMAMOO's Label RBW Entertainment Slammed Over 'Misleading' Information On Hwasa's Event

MAMAMOO's label RBW Entertainment has received flak from fans. MooMoos have showed support for Hwasa, but it wasn't acknowledged, due to the company "misleading" them.

Here's what people are saying.

RBW Entertainment Criticized For 'Misleading' Information on Hwasa's Event

MAMAMOO's agency RBW Entertainment, is once more in flak with MooMoos for misleading information.

On January 12, MooMoos took their thoughts online, calling out RBW Entertainment's misguidance for a fan project. With Hwasa busy filming for "Hwasa Show" in tvN, fans also wanted to voice out support for the idol.

At their discretion, they decided to send snacks and lunchboxes to the filming crew on site. When the fandom contacted the company, RBW Entertainment approved the proposal, as well as disclosing Hwasa's filming location and schedule.

However, fans discovered the filming wasn't taking place in the said location. When they reached out to the show's production crew, they realized that RBW had not told them about the project, and the rescheduling of filming.

The label then provided a different address for fans, explaining that the studio where Hwasa was filming had been switched due to conflicts in schedule. Fans found out Hwasa was not filming at the second site when they got there.

"Hwasa's production team didn't know that the K-Moos wanted to send Hwasa food to support her! Their audacity to give fans the wrong address twice. This a new low even for them."

RBW Entertainment Apologizes for Mismanagement, Hwasa Responds to MooMoos

RBW has responded to the issue. The agency apologized to fans for not delivering the food fans had prepared. They also proposed if MooMoos were okay to deliver the same gifts to the idol and crew.

"We deeply apologize for our error, which prevented us from delivering the support gifts you spent a lot of time organizing for the Hwasa Show. We would like to know if you are okay with delivering the same gifts to Hwasa and production staff once more, through the company you previously contacted."

"We will make sure to prepare and give the gifts with the same sincerity as you did, since you had prepared them with love and valuable time."

On January 13, a fan posted a video on Twitter, where Hwasa was approached and asked if she had received the support gifts. To fans' surprise, Hwasa sadly replied "No," indicating that the company had possibly lied to the fans about re-delivery.

See the video below:

"Hyejin unnie said she doesn't know anything at all. Although they didn't even confirm that the support items had been given, I still had my concerns. I reasoned that we could check to see if it had been delivered later. After checking, we have this."
