KEY's title track "KILLER" is from his 2nd album repackage of the same name, which contains other 13 tracks. Aside from giving Shawols another instant hit, KEY also offered them a unique retro concept over its title track.
Upon seeing his music video, Shawols took their thoughts on a forum, where they applauded KEY for his refreshing music. They commended KEY for taking on a concept that suited his voice, as well as the fluidity of its production.
Others stated that despite KEY going all-out in his previous single "Gasoline," Shawols claimed that "Killer" was more relaxed and laid-back, while maintaining its energetic sequences.

In other news, KEY appeared in Lee Youngji's show "My Alcohol Diary." On August 26, 2022, the singer got Shawols laughing for his response about SM being a family.
At first, KEY and Youngji went for a serious tone, discussing the KEY's reality in SHINee. The idol explained that he aimed to lay out a distinct character that people can acknowledge him with. He also furthered that it's imperative to find possible paths as much as possible, due to the competitive nature in K-pop.
However, the serious talk vanished when KEY hilariously commented that they're all simply contract workers in the company!
