10 Most Popular K-pop Male Idols for March 2023 — Who Ranked 1st?

The Korean Business Research Institute has finally revealed the brand reputation rankings for individual male idols. To analyze these data, the institute made use of the idols' online and offline exposure.

This includes social media, consumer participation, and overall coverage. According to the chart, the data covered were derived from February 18 to March 18.

With many of these idols having engaged in numerous K-pop activities, popularity is an aspect every fan should look forward to.

Here are the top 10 most popular K-pop boy group members for March 2023!

1. BTS V

For the month of March, V of BTS dominated the list with a brand reputation index of 4,875,543, which garnered a 38.09 percent increase, surpassing his February score.

Additionally, the singer received 89.28 percent positive reactions from his positivity-negativity analysis. From guesting on variety shows to modeling in pictorials, V is understandably one of the most active idols out there, which makes this spot even more deserving.

2. BTS J-Hope

With a brand reputation index of 4,288,670, J-Hope rose in the list due to an overwhelming 141.42 percent increase.

3. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo

Actor and idol ASTRO Cha Eun Woo made his way to the top three, closing in an index of 4,250,124.

4. BTS Jimin

BTS Jimin raked in the fourth place, collecting a brand reputation index of 4,034,139 for March. Since the idol released the MV for "Set Me Free Pt.2," Jimin trended immediately on the K-pop community.

5. Kang Daniel

Kang Daniel completed the top five rankings, by collecting an index of 3,784,328.

6. Hwang Minhyun

In the sixth place, Hwang Minhyun garnered a brand reputation index of 3,534,475. Due to his appearance on Mnet's survival show "Boys Planet," the singer has earned everyone's attention for his graceful presence on the program.

7. EXO Baekhyun

Baekhyun of EXO snagged a total of 2,540,067 brand reputation index for March.

8. WINNER Song Mino

For March Song Mino of WINNER gained a brand reputation index of 2,432,929. The idol has gained attention for his appearance as judge on JTBC's "Peak Time." However, he was later replaced by MAMAMOO Moonbyul, due to his conflicting schedules.

Furthermore, Mino also trended because of his military enlistment date announcement, which is slated for March 24.

9. Park Ji Hoon

Former Wanna One Park Ji Hoon was also included on the rankings, due to his brand reputation index of 2,356,066.

10. BIGBANG G-Dragon

K-pop's king G-Dragon of BIGBANG completed the top 10. For March the icon accumulated a brand reputation index of 2,051,591. Moreover, G-Dragon took over the trends because of his photoshoot with Harper's Bazaar on March 16.

Apart from stealing everyone's attention with his fierce aura, the idol also hinted a possible comeback for this 2023, causing massive anticipation.
