A year after their last release, Apink is finally back! Here's how people are reacting to the girl group's comeback album and song.

Apink Sweeps Music Charts With 10th Mini-Album 'SELF' & Title Track 'D N D'

On April 5, the second-generation girl group Apink finally had their much-awaited return a year after releasing their fourth studio album, "Horn," in February 2022.

On this day, the quintet dropped their 10th mini-album, "SELF," comprised of five tracks, with the title track "D N D."

As soon as the album was released on various music platforms, the K-pop icon immediately proved the firepower of their global fans, entering the iTunes Top Album Chart's Top 10 in a total of ten countries: Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkey, Hong Kong, Mexico, Taiwan and Thailand as of 10 p.m. KST (Apr. 5).

Aside from this, "SELF" also secured its position in the US and UK album charts.

In Korea, Apink also solidified their presence by entering the top of major music sites. Although charts of Genie and MelOn are currently being dominated by the fourth-gen girl groups IVE, NewJeans, and NMIXX, Apink proved their unrelenting fame after entering MelOn Top100.

Apink is expected to hold their comeback activities through various online and offline content, including major music broadcasts.

Apink Vocals Praised By From K-pop Fans

Certified by their initial performance in music charts at home and abroad, Apink is showing strong signs of creating another hit, especially with their title song "D N D" (Do Not Disturb). It's a pop dance song that showcases Apink's innocent and vibrant energy and adds high and fresh phrases and grooves.

The lyrics depict a healing message aiming to support those who have lost hope without finding their color.

The members deliver comforting words, such as:

"Imagine your own world because no one is disturbing you."

When the song was released, Apink became a hot topic in various online communities, praising their concept that reminded fans of their bright image when they just debuted.

But on top of their visuals and concept, what became the talk of the town was the group's vocals. Not only Pink Pandas (fandom) but even non-fans can't stop themselves from praising Apink's crazy and solid vocal line.

Although Eunji is the main vocalist, people are impressed at how all members aren't only singers - but really talented singers.
