JTBC's "Peak Time" has concluded by announcing the final winner on its highly anticipated finale. Moreover, the eleventh episode featured energetic performances as well.

'Peak Time' Episode 11: Program Showcases Performances, Reveals Final Winner in Highly-Anticipated Finale

"Peak Time" is JTBC's brand new idol survival show, where teams compete for a second chance to become the next "global K-pop group."

Compared to other idol survival programs, "Peak Time" placed in male groups who were either actively promoting or disbanded. Some of these groups were also either veterans or undergoing an indefinite hiatus. Other groups also disbanded or laid low because of how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the music industry.

With "Peak Time," these groups were given a second chance to promote again. It is comprised of a star-studded judge lineup, namely Super Junior Kyuhyun, Jay Park, Highlight Gikwang, INFINITE Sungkyu, SNSD Tiffany, and WINNER Song Mino, who was replaced later on by MAMAMOO Moonbyul.

On its previous tenth episode, a total of 3 teams were eliminated from the program, leaving the remaining 6 to advance in the final round. On the April 19 finale broadcast, the top six finalists have officially revealed their real group names to viewers.

During the episode, audiences and viewers casted their votes in real time. The casting occurred while the six finalists performed their brand new songs on live stage.

VANNER Becomes Overall Winner, Secures First Place on Rankings

With the live votes tallied, MC Lee Seung Gi revealed the final results, with VANNER revealed to be the winner. The group, who went by their team name "Team 11:00," secured earned victory by placing first on its rankings.

VANNER has received the opportunity to release a new album and a global showcase for their group. They also won a grand prize of 300 million won, which is equivalent to $225,000 USD. Moreover, the top six finalists will all perform a "Peak Time" concert tour.
