THESE 10 K-pop Artists Dominate April 2023 Brand Reputation Rankings

April has been quite a busy month for K-pop, since many of our artists have engaged in their own activities in terms of comebacks, variety show appearances, and other endeavors that led to their buzz.

With April now coming to an end, the Korean Business Research Institute has officially announced their brand reputation rankings for K-pop artists.

The data was covered from March 22 to April 22, deriving the results from the artists' media exposure, consumer participation, community awareness, interaction and many more.

Here are 10 K-pop artists who dominated the brand reputation rankings for April 2023!

1. NewJeans

For the month of April, NewJeans garnered a brand reputation index of 9,184,363, topping the list. This is due to their score increase of 10.23 percent. The girls also caught attention for their comeback announcement, where they disclosed their upcoming release in June, followed by an album in July.

2. BTS

BTS climbed on the No. 2 spot with their brand reputation index of 8,788,308. The score was obtained through their 10.68 percent increase. The group also gained attention since several members made their mark on the charts and album sales with their debut releases, such as Jimin and Suga.

3. Lim Young Woong

With a brand reputation index of 8,011,212, Lim Young Woong secured No. 3 on the rankings.

4. BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK gained an amazing 19.91 percent score increase, leading to a brand reputation index of 7,938,100. Their popularity for April is due to their historic feat in the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. BLACKPINK became viral for their amazing performances in one of the largest music events in the world.

5. IVE

IVE completed the top five with a brand reputation index of 5,370,428. The rookie girl group also made a buzz since they released their first ever full-length album "I've IVE," alongside title track "I AM" on April 10.

6. FIFTY FIFTY

FIFTY FIFTY joined the top 10 at No. 6 since they collected a figure of 4,729,701 for their April brand reputation index.

7. IU

On No. 7, legendary soloist IU gained a brand reputation index of 4,567,587. The singer actress also trended with her activities, social media exposure, and endeavors with BTS Suga, whom she worked with on the song "People Pt. 2."

8. Lee Chan Won

Singer Lee Chan Won received an index of 4,252,593.

9. Kim Ho Joong

Kim Ho Joong placed in at No. 9, where he amassed a total of 3,467,321 for April.

10. SEVENTEEN

Lastly, SEVENTEEN gained a brand reputation index of 3,081,288. They also trended this April because of their 10th mini album release titled "FML," and its double title tracks "Super" and "F*ck My Life."
