Who Is KISS OF LIFE? S2 Entertainment To Launch New K-pop Girl Group in July

A new fourth-gen girl group is set to join the music industry!

In May, S2 Entertainment announced the upcoming debut of its new girl group, KISS OF LIFE (KIOF)!

Based on the words, "artificial respiration" and "vitalization," KISS OF LIFE contains the ambition to "breathe new life" into the music industry with the members' music and charm. KIOF is expected to have its official debut in July.

Meanwhile, from May to June, the introduction of the members started and was held through its official SNS including Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook.

In their movie-like trailer, the video showed four different girls in different spaces and situations yet all seemed to be oppressed. Later on, the atmosphere changed as the quartet showed the desire to be free from their difficult circumstances.

Upon its release, it immediately drew hot responses for its unique emotional direction of the movie trailer-like teaser, the unconventional story development, the cinematography, the narrative as well as the unique appearance of the members who were unveiled for the first time.

Furthermore, K-pop enthusiasts showed curiosity if what's the relationship between the words, "COUNTDOWN," "KITTY CAT," "SUGARCOAT," and "PLAY LOVE GAMES" to their debut, which were shown at the end of the video.

Meanwhile, the group will be comprised of four members; two Koreans, a Korean-American and a Thai.

Natty

Natty is finally making her debut in a girl group!

In particular, the 02-liner idol became known in the music scene as a famous JYP trainee who joined "SIXTEEN" and "Idol School." She almost debuted in TWICE and fromis_9 but failed to join the final lineup.

In 2020 then, she debuted as a solo artist and released albums such as "NINETEEN" and "Teddy Bear," showing her ability as an all-around artist with stable singing skills and performance.

Following the news, Natty, who is about to re-debut as a girl group after a three-year hiatus is gaining attention as the main dancer of the team.

Belle

Born in Seattle in 2004, Belle is a Korean and the second KISS OF LIFE member to be revealed.

According to the agency, she is a member with an attractive tone, top singing ability, and excellent singer-songwriting skills, making her the main vocalist of the team.

Prior to her debut, Belle already proved her musical ability after her voice was featured in NCT Mark's solo song "Child." She also composed songs for various idols such as (G)-IDLE Miyeon, Purple KISS and one of her most popular works is LE SSERAFIM's "UNFORGIVEN."

Julie

The third member to be revealed, Julie Han's name was initially known among K-pop fans as she's a popular YG Entertainment trainee under the sub-company, THEBLACKLABEL.

Eventually, she left the company after training under them from 2017 to 2022.

For those who don't know her, Julie is a Korean-American who was born in Hawaii, U.S. in 2000 and lived in Korea since she was four.

She's famous among K-pop fans for being a bilingual and excellent rapper. With this, she's earning expectations of how she will lead the team's global activities as its leader.

Haneul

Born in 2005, Haneul is the fourth member who took off her veil who will be the group's maknae.

She is expected to revitalize the team and convey various charms as she has infinite musical potential with attractive visuals, excellent skills and talents. Haneul is also multilingual who can speak both English, Korean and Japanese.
