SNSD Sooyoung to Host HYBE's New Girl Group Survival Show 'R U Next?'
On June 15, it was announced that Sooyoung will be hosting "R U Next?," HYBE's new girl group survival show.
According to sources, Sooyoung also shared her thoughts regarding the show and its contestants. Sooyoung stated that she's an avid listener of girl group music, and that she's more than willing to witness the birth of a new global girl group.
"I always get shocked on the limitless concepts and plans, since I also follow a lot of girl groups. I'm also amazed by their set of skills," Sooyoung stated.

The idol continued, "Even if the girl groups who are actively promoting nowadays are my juniors, I'm also their fan, and an enthusiastic listener of their songs. I'm very much excited to see closely and participate in the process of a new girl group in the making."
Meanwhile, the production team of "R U Next?" also voiced out how perfect Sooyoung was as the program's host due to her commendable mentoring and experience in the music industry.

'R U Next?' Preparations Confirmed, HYBE LABELS Releases Official MV For 'R.U.N'
On June 1, JTBC and BELIFT LAB announced the program's filming, and confirmed that the show will be different from "I-LAND," which formed the boy group ENHYPEN.
Meanwhile, On June 12, HYBE LABELs released the official music video for "R.U.N" (With Full Speed), the theme song for "R U Next?." The track is also graced with vocals from singer actress Bae Suzy, who delivered a commendable performance.
