On June 23, Kenzo revealed that Vernon of SEVENTEEN became their first-ever global ambassador.
Kenzo is a French luxury fashion house, which was founded by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada in 1970. In their announcement of Vernon's inclusion, artistic director Nigo, welcomed the idol to the fashion brand.
"I'm honored and thankful to welcome Vernon into the Kenzo family," the director stated.

According to Women's Wear Daily, Vernon's first official appearance representing the brand will be on June 23, when he'll attend the co-ed fashion show during Men's Fashion Week in Paris, France. The artist will also be flaunting different advertising campaigns for Kenzo's sneakers and clothes.

Kenzo followed up their praises on Vernon's artistry, visuals, and star power. They stated, "Vernon has received global recognition and established his reputation due to his exceptional vocal abilities and versatile visuals."
Meanwhile, Vernon also shared his true feelings about the partnership, expressing how excited he was for the collaboration and what it will bring into the future.
"Being Kenzo's global ambassador is an honor and a fortunate one," Vernon remarked. He continued, "I'm really looking forward to showing new sides of me to CARATs worldwide, as I'm excited to discover the synergy this partnership will display."

In other news, SEVENTEEN has released their 10th mini album "FML" on April 24, with title tracks "Super" and "F*ck My Life."
According to Hanteo, the album has sold 4,550,214 copies for its first week from April 24 to 30. This feat led SEVENTEEN to have the highest record for the best-selling Korean album in Hanteo.
