On the third episode of "Queendom Puzzle," the program focused on second round titled, Remix Battle, as well as the ranking reveal of top 7 contestants.

'Queendom Puzzle' Episode 3: Remix Battle Starts, Top 7 Contestants Revealed

Previously on Episode 2, the contestants have been placed into their new teams for the "7 versus 7" team battle.

For each team, they had to perform two of the program's signal songs: "SNAP" or "Charismatic." Episode 3 engaged the contestants with a head-on battle, which was decided by the combined votes of panel experts and contestants themselves. Notably, judges voted one MVP for each winning team.

On the "Charismatic" battle, the victory was claimed by "PICK" team, comprised of members Cherry Bullet Jiwon, woo!ah! Nana and Wooyeon, Lee Chaeyeon, tripleS Jiwoo, Weeekly Soeun, and Weeekly Jihan. As for the MVP, woo!ah! Nana was chosen by the panel.

The "SNAP" battle was won by the "DROP" team, consisting of Weki Meki Elly, Shiroma Miru, Dohwa (Chanmi of AOA), Lovelyz Kei, H1-KEY Hwiseo, Fye, and Rocket Punch Takahashi Juri. H1-KEY Hwiseo was selected as the MVP.

The episode then transitioned to the Remix Battle where contestants were assigned to perform famous K-pop songs in front of live audiences. As for the benefits, the winning team who'll garner the most votes will be awarded with 20,000 points.

For the round's setlist, the songs assigned were "Dance The Night Away" by TWICE, "Don't Calle Me" by SHINee, "Nxde" by (G)I-DLE, "Shut Down" by BLACKPINK, "Fighting" by SEVENTEEN BSS, and "Only One" by BoA.

Additionally, it was revealed the number of contestants on each team was decided in advance. Such example include that "Fighting" was supposed to be performed by a four-membered team, while "Only One" with a duet from two members.

Nana and Hwiseo, the two MVPs, were allowed to decide which participant would be designated on each popular K-pop song. Contestants who were on the winning side have had the chance to speak up regarding the MVPs' decision-making, while the others who lost on the previous round didn't have the opportunity to do so.

After Nana and Hwiseo have finished assigning contestants, they were objected by Jiwon of Cherry Bullet and Juri of Rocket Punch. Juri requested to be assigned in the song "Fighting," instead of "Don't Call Me," which was allowed by the MVPs.

However, Jiwon's request to be assigned in "Nxde" (formerly "Dance the Night Away") was rejected, since Nana had assigned herself to the "Nxde" team.

"Nxde" - Nana, Jihan, Dohwa, Suyun

"Fighting" - Elly, Jiwoo, Takahashi Juri, JooE, Lee Soojin, Yuki

"Shut Down" - Hwiseo, Fye, Sangah, Riina

"Only One" - Soeun, Kei

"Don't Call Me" - Shiroma Miru, Wooyeon, Yeoreum, Yeeun

"Dance the Night Away" - Jiwon, Bora, Chaerin, Seoyeon, Yeonhee

"Nxde" and "Fighting" teams were showcased on the third episode, while other performances will be featured in next week's airing.

Episode 3 also revealed the 7 current rankings based on global votes.
