'Queendom Puzzle' Episode 2: 'Up-Down' Battle Concludes, Contestants Land New Tiers

"Queendom Puzzle" has aired its second episode, where contestants finished their performances, and got re-organized into new ranking tiers.

Here's what happened on the latest episode of "Queendom Puzzle."

'Queendom Puzzle' Episode 2: Contestants Finish First Round, New Ranking Tiers Announced

On the previous episode of "Queendom Puzzle," the program introduced the contestants one by one, and engaged on a competition called Up-Down Battle.

In the first episode, a total of 13 contestants took over the stage to perform their covers, while being voted in either a favorable "Up" or an unfortunate "Down" by fellow contestants. Episode 2 picked where the show left off, focusing on other contestants' performances.

Program Enters '7 versus 7' Team Competition, Contestants to Perform Signal Songs 'SNAP' & 'Charismatic.'

After the new tiers were finalized, contestants were tasked to tackle a "7 versus 7" team battle, where they will perform one of the show's two signal songs "SNAP" and "Charismatic."

For their arrangement, the contestants were split into four teams comprising of seven members each. Each signal song was performed by the two teams, facing off on an intense battle. Every contestant were free to choose which song between "SNAP" and "Charismatic" they wanted to perform.

However, there were only 14 slots available each track, leading the contestants to decide based on the Up-Down Battle results in order. The last contestant, tripleS Seoyeon, was inevitably assigned to the song "Charismatic."

Two teams were then created by the two highest-ranking contestants for each song, which comprised of seven members each, forming the "PICK" team. This also led to the formation of its opposing team, called "DROP."

For the song "SNAP," Bora of Cherry Bullet was the top contestant, while her bandmate Jiwon reigned the rankings for "Charismatic." The teams below were pieced like a puzzle by Bora and Jiwon.
