The fandom name of Dara has been revealed!

On June 30, Sandara Park's YouTube channel, "DARA TV" posted a video of "Surprise reveal, Dara reveals the fandom name she chose."

In the released video, Sandara Park said:

"There was a video where I asked you to think about it together through DARA TV last time. I said I would receive nicknames from those who support DARA. Today, I will introduce the nicknames sent by fans and finally decide on them."

Regarding the fandom name, she introduced some of the suggestions that were sent to them, expressing her concerns as everything was good and pretty.

"Many people sent a lot of various opinions. Still, I had a lot of worries, and I thought about how to decide because they were all pretty and good, he said. I will introduce some of the nicknames you sent me."

After introducing the fan nickname and the meaning of the candidates, Sandara Park said:

"I had a lot of thoughts because I was deciding on the nickname of the fans I love so much, but now that the album is coming out, I have to decide. So I made a decision."

Dara finally revealed:

"The nickname I chose is DARAling."

The fandom name is an amalgamation and wordplay of the idol's name DARA and "Darling" or "Dazzling." It means that fans will serve as lovers or partners that will be with the idol forever.

Regarding the REASON she chose the fandom name, the "FIRE" singer explained:

"Did you expect it? As in the comments, 'DARAling' received overwhelming support from many people, and it's a nickname that my fans have voluntarily made and called for since a long time ago, so I think 'DARAling' won first place."

Despite their solo fandom nickname, she still attested to BLACKJACKs, 2NE1 fandom that they will still be mentioned, saying:

"I really like it right now, and I hope the fans who have been waiting for us for a long time will like it. Thank you so much to the subscribers of 'DARA TV' and our BLACKJACKs for giving us so many cute and good ideas, and I will call use these two names from now on."

Sandara Park Releases Tracklist for First-Ever Solo Album

Meanwhile, Dara, who is a former 2NE1 member and will challenge a soloist path will drop her self-titled solo album on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST on July 12.

To make her upcoming release more colorful, singers Gray, Heize, and Sunwoojunga joined the production lineup for the digital mini-album, "SANDARA PARK," which will be a gift to fans.

The album will be comprised of five tracks including the title song "FESTIVAL," which is a sample of Uhm Jung Hwa's "Festival" released in 1995, "PLAY!," "DARA DARA," "T MAP," and "HAPPY ENDING."
