On July 20, Sandara Park, who returned to the music industry after six years with her solo debut album, appeared as a guest for SBS PowerFM's "Cultwo Show."
In the show, the host-soloist recalled her past activities as an idol and the level of her popularity in her "heyday." She particularly drew attention as they looked back on her past remark, where she claimed that she was the No. 1 ideal type of male idols until Suzy appeared.
Dara attested to it and said:
"If you look up the 2009 article, it is a fact. Everyone, including seniors and juniors here and there would say, 'Sandara Park is my ideal type.' Thank you so much. However, a year later, Suzy made her debut."
In 2009, Sandara Park debuted in the four-member girl group 2NE1 and established their name through hits "I Am the Best," "FIRE," "Lonely," "Come Back Home," and more.
At the time, Dara also became a hot topic for her top-tier beauty and unique fashion style as the main visuals of the team. She drew attention not only among fans but also among celebrities.

When asked about the male celebrities who picked her as their ideal type, Dara glossed over it, saying:
"There are too many. I can't reveal their real name, but it's right that a famous celebrity also tried to hit on me."
As she made the host and other guests more curious, they tried to ask the "You and I" singer a hint about him, but Dara only hinted at him being an idol-actor.
Sandara Park Reacts To Article Saying She's 4th Richest Female Idol
In the same broadcast, DJs Kim Taekyun and Hwang Chiyeol introduced Sandara Park as the 4th richest female idol.
"It's all old stories. I've already used it for clothes and shoes. Currently, I think I will be about 400th in terms of idol wealth. At that time, I didn't know about saving money."
Regarding the whereabouts of the money he earned, she said:
"I bought clothes and shoes. Even if I don't eat, I have to buy clothes and shoes. I learned this from Jinusean Oppa. 'Dara, even if you starve, you have to buy shoes.'"
Meanwhile, since the end of 2NE1 activities in 2016, Sandara Park has been doing acting and entertainment activities.
