For the month of August, the Korean Business Research Institute has officially announced its brand reputation rankings involving K-pop male idol groups. According to the chart, the data was covered from July 12 to August 12.
These results were derived from numerous factors such as the participation of consumers, coverage from the media, and other factors that can lead to overall exposure.
Here are 10 most popular K-pop boy groups in August 2023!
1. BTS
At the first place, BTS claimed the No. 1 spot, marking their 63rd consecutive month. According to the institute, BTS earned a total of 6,543,983 for their August 2023 boy group brand reputation rankings.
They also garnered a score of 85.11 percent positive reactions for their positivity-negativity analysis.
2. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN made it on the No. 2 spot with a brand reputation index of 4,944,749, due to a 10.10 score increase.
3. EXO
After gathering an amazing amount of 145.77 percent score rise, EXO claimed the No. 3 with a brand reputation index of 4,572,081, leading them to join the top 3.
4. INFINITE
INFINITE managed to claim fourth place after seeing a brand reputation index of 3,480,732. This is because of how the group met an overwhelming 539.88 percent score rise for their brand index, highlighting their skyrocketing popularity.
5. ZEROBASEONE
ZEROBASEONE, the project boy group from Mnet's "Boys Planet," completed the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,459,420. It's also impressive how a newly debuted K-pop male group had entered the list's top five despite being a rookie act.
6. NCT
On No. 6, NCT garnered a brand reputation index of 2,294,215.
7. THE BOYZ
As for THE BOYZ, the group had collected a total score of 2,276,330 for their August 2023 brand reputation rankings.
8. Stray Kids
Stray Kids joined the August list's top 8, which saw a brand reputation index of 2,085,562.
9. SHINee
SHINee followed up on No. 9 with a brand reputation index of 2,082,142.
10. MONSTA X
Lastly, on the 10th place, MONSTA X rounded the top 10 with a brand reputation index of 1,823,196.
